CORNEX Debuts M6 BESS at Smarter E Europe 2026

At The smarter E Europe in Munich on June 23, CORNEX introduced its full-scenario energy storage lineup, emphasizing the flagship M6 BESS as a key enabler for Europe's sustainable energy shift. Built specifically for 4-to-8-hour duration needs, the M6 container employs internally developed 588Ah cells and a CTP structure to reach an industry-leading 6.26MWh within a standard 20-foot footprint. The company says this compact solution boosts land utilization by 33% and lowers the total number of containers required by 20% for large-scale projects, directly tackling Europe's land constraints.

Beyond energy density, CORNEX has optimized the M6 for European environmental standards and site flexibility. The container operates at an ultra-quiet ≤65dB and carries a C5-H corrosion rating, enabling deployment near residential areas or in harsh coastal conditions. An integrated liquid cooling system maintains temperatures below 35°C, helping extend the system’s lifespan by 20%. All units come with comprehensive international safety certifications, delivering what the manufacturer describes as a "predictable and dependable" platform for grid peak-shaving and renewable energy integration.

In addition to utility-scale systems, CORNEX introduced high-performance cells for residential and micro-mobility markets. Its 314Ah, 120Ah, and 100Ah cells deliver enhanced safety for home energy autonomy, while cylindrical cells with over 2,500 cycles serve the growing light electric vehicle segment. With a 200GWh production capacity layout, CORNEX plans to scale the M6 container later this year, promising a rapid and stable supply to advance Europe’s sustainable energy targets.
