BAK Battery Unveils Next-Gen Cylindrical, Solid-State Polymer & High-Capacity Prismatic Batteries at CIBF 2025

SHENZHEN, China – At the 17th China International Battery Fair (May 15-17, 2025), BAK Battery strategically unveiled three core product lines: advanced cylindrical, polymer, and prismatic batteries.

1. BAK Cylindrical: Evolving "Energy Capsules"

Leveraging 20+ years of expertise, BAK showcased a high-capacity/high-power cylindrical platform. Its breakthrough tabless cylindrical matrix (18/21/46 series) outperforms traditional cells in discharge, range, charging speed, and cycle life. Addressing e-bike safety, the PRO-M battery exceeds GB43854-2024/GB40559-2024 standards and rigorous nail penetration tests, featuring wide-temperature operation and extended lifespan.

2. BAK Polymer: Solid-State Acceleration & AI-Ready Power

BAK is pioneering solid-state industrialization, announcing a 390Wh/kg solid-state battery (800 cycles) for late 2025 deployment in explosive-proof equipment, vehicle swapping, and eVTOLs. Current prototypes have passed nail penetration tests. As a top global consumer polymer supplier, BAK also highlighted fast-charging, high-density polymer cells powering AI-driven devices like phone swapping, power banks, and smart home tech.

3. BAK Prismatic: Powering High-Quality Energy Storage

With the sector shifting to "high-quality development," BAK introduced its 688Ah large-capacity prismatic cell. Through material and process innovation, this solution reduces per-Wh costs, boosting competitiveness for the clean energy transition.
