We recently engineered and delivered a high-performance custom energy solution for a client in Singapore—a 9S230Ah LiFePO4 battery pack with an integrated 2KW On-Board Charger (OBC). Designed to reliably power a range of appliances, this system meets the growing demand for electric vehicle (EV)-compatible charging in off-grid and mobile applications.
To maximize space efficiency and simplify installation, the OBC charger was mounted directly onto the battery pack, creating a compact and user-ready power solution.

Custom Specifications

EV Type 2 Charging Compatibility – Enables convenient charging at public or private EV stations.

CAN-Bus BMS – Provides real-time communication for monitoring and control.
SOC & Temperature Monitoring – Ensures safety and extends battery lifespan.
High Discharge Rate – Supports continuous discharge up to 80A for demanding loads.
CAN-to-Display Integration – Allows real-time visualization of battery temperature, state of charge (SOC), and other vital parameters on an external screen.

Rigorous Testing & Seamless Compatibility
After assembly, the system was tested with a BYD EV charging station. To bridge compatibility between the Chinese-standard plug and the Type 2 charging cable, a dedicated adapter was used.
Test Results Confirmed:
✅ BYD station green light – charging active
✅ OBC fan operation – normal thermal management
✅ Host software confirmation – charging in progress
The system operated flawlessly, demonstrating reliable interoperability between the battery pack, OBC, and EV charging infrastructure.
These products are packed in wooden crates and protected with foam padding to ensure their safe arrival at their destination.
