SVOLT Energy has officially commenced production of its Long-Lin-Armor II battery at its Huzhou facility. This next-generation battery, an evolution of the 2022 Long-Lin-Armor design, is now the world's largest mass-produced 800V ternary hybrid battery at 65kWh, featuring 5C ultra-fast charging to significantly extend range and slash charging times for hybrid users.
The Long-Lin-Armor II prioritizes massive capacity, extreme safety, and ultra-rapid charging. Its safety core utilizes highly integrated, stable thermal-electric separation technology, innovatively positioning the vent at the cell bottom – completely isolated from the terminals – ensuring absolute separation of thermal runaway ejecta from electrical components.
This safety system integrates an intelligent fuse (cutoff <2ms) with ultra-high-strength steel underbody armor and a T-shaped dual-layer protective structure (1000J impact resistance), creating a comprehensive triple-safety shield. Validated testing shows zero thermal propagation even at 55°C, exceeding industry safety standards by over 6x.
As the world's largest mass-produced 800V 5C ternary hybrid battery, its 65kWh capacity rivals pure-EV packs. Structurally, short-blade cells and CTP technology share exhaust and underbody protection gaps, freeing 5-8mm in height (Z-direction) and boosting volumetric efficiency by 4%.
This Z-space optimization enables the battery pack to fit diverse platforms (MPVs, SUVs, sedans), substantially reducing development and production costs.
For charging, its 5C capability achieves 20%-80% SOC in just 12 minutes, supporting over 1600 fast-charge cycles. Coupled with BDU cooling technology, temperatures are reduced by 40%.
The successful launch marks a significant milestone for SVOLT Energy and China's lithium battery industry advancement, delivering leading core specifications for safer, faster-charging, and more sustainable mobility.
