HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam — At the Solar & Storage Live Vietnam 2026 exhibition held on July 8–9, global energy storage specialist HiTHIUM marked a significant milestone in its Southeast Asian expansion. Making its first public appearance in the country, the company showcased a comprehensive lineup of multi-scenario energy storage solutions, including its advanced long-duration energy storage systems (LDES) and the newly unveiled HeroEE M 30 residential energy storage system (ESS), signaling a major step forward in its global footprint strategy.
Vietnam has rapidly emerged as one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic energy storage markets. Driven by a maturing time-of-use (TOU) tariff mechanism and a continuous surge in distributed photovoltaic installations, the nation has established a clear regulatory roadmap to surpass 10 GW of energy storage capacity by 2030. These favorable policy frameworks and market drivers are creating a highly lucrative environment for utility-scale and distributed energy storage deployments across the region.
Responding to these localized market dynamics, HiTHIUM presented a diverse portfolio ranging from specialized long-duration battery cells to grid-scale systems and residential units. Each solution is specifically designed to address the mainstream requirements of Vietnam’s generation-side, grid-side, and residential energy infrastructure.
The centerpiece of the exhibit was HiTHIUM’s cutting-edge ∞Power 6.25MWh 4h LDES system. Engineered to optimize renewable energy grid integration, peak shaving, and frequency regulation, this next-generation system reduces auxiliary power consumption by 30% compared to previous models. Safety remains a core benchmark, with the system passing rigorous open-door fire testing and securing prestigious TÜV Rheinland audits alongside international UL 9540 and IEC 62933-5-2 certifications, reinforcing its readiness for global deployment.
For the residential and small commercial & industrial (C&I) segments, HiTHIUM introduced the HeroEE M 30 residential ESS. Integrating pioneering 587Ah large-capacity cells, the system offers an exceptional cycle life of up to 11,000 cycles, optimizing cost efficiency and reducing maintenance needs. With an IP65 rating, the hardware is fully ruggedized against Vietnam's demanding tropical climate. A single M 30 unit delivers a 30 kWh capacity, featuring a flexible modular architecture that supports multi-unit parallel expansion to scale seamlessly for diverse project sizes.
Beyond hardware, HiTHIUM is positioning itself as an end-to-end partner by providing comprehensive services that span cell supply, system integration, custom solution design, and localized lifecycle O&M. Notably, the company has implemented specialized climate-adapted upgrades to its thermal management and protection systems to guarantee long-term operational stability in Southeast Asia’s high-temperature and high-humidity environments.
This high-profile showcase underscores HiTHIUM’s long-term commitment to localized adaptation and robust service networks in Southeast Asia. By matching technical capability with regional insights, the company aims to embed itself deeply within the local ecosystem. Looking ahead, HiTHIUM intends to deploy more tailored, premium energy storage technologies to accelerate Southeast Asia’s transition toward low-carbon energy and foster sustainable industry growth.
