EVE Energy and Vimab Partner on Major Nordic Energy Storage Projects

MADRID, Spain – A significant three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between EVE Energy and Swedish system integrator Vimab BESS AB at the GENERA Trade Fair. The agreement targets the deployment of 1.48 GWh of energy storage capacity across Northern Europe, a move set to accelerate the continent's shift to renewable energy.

The Nordic region, a leader in the global energy transition, faces challenges from the intermittent nature of renewables like wind and solar. This partnership directly addresses the resulting grid instability and price volatility through large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS).

The collaboration pairs market needs with technical expertise. EVE Energy is slated to be a key supplier, providing high-performance batteries, integrated solutions, and technical support to facilitate Vimab's expansion. The commitment is underscored by the first batch of orders, already scheduled for delivery in December.

A representative from Vimab's subsidiary noted that the Nordic market is evolving towards diversified value creation, and EVE's technical and delivery capabilities are a vital asset for unlocking regional potential.

An EVE Energy executive stated that Vimab brings crucial project execution and operational experience to the table. The partnership, built on a history of cooperation, is a strategic alignment to advance shared green energy goals in Europe.
