MELBOURNE—CALB showcased its ZhiJiu series energy storage products at All-Energy Australia 2026, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from Oct. 28 to 29, as the battery maker sought to address the utility-scale power plant and commercial and industrial (C&I) campus segments. According to the company, the offering combines long-cycle cell technology with a standardized system platform and a “cell + system + service” integrated delivery model to continuously reduce the levelized cost of storage (LCOS) over the full lifecycle, supporting efficient, safe and economical energy transition in Australia and the Asia-Pacific market.
For utility-scale storage plants, CALB presented a full-stack liquid-cooled integrated design intended to handle harsh conditions such as high temperatures and wide-area deployment in Australia. The company said the design offers a 25-year ultra-long service life and high energy density, strengthening the safety foundation for large-scale storage. Its 20-ft 6.26MWh and 10-ft “10MWh+” modular liquid-cooled storage systems target different project needs: the 20-ft option pushes energy density to an optimized level to minimize CAPEX, while the 10-ft option adopts an innovative decoupled architecture to simplify transport and installation and shorten construction and grid-connection timelines.
For C&I storage, CALB focused on liquid-cooled outdoor storage cabinets designed for flexible configuration, safety and reliability, aiming to support green upgrades at industrial parks and accelerate investment returns. The cabinets feature a ventilation and explosion-venting design to build a multi-dimensional active fire protection system, and support single-cabinet deployment or multi-cabinet parallel expansion. The full series meets major international certification requirements, with whole-unit safety performance described by the company as leading, while long-cycle cells and full-domain liquid-cooling temperature control underpin strong full-lifecycle economics.
As a battery specialist, CALB said it will continue to build core competitiveness around “leading cell technology + standardized systems + full-scenario adaptation,” creating a complete storage ecosystem covering utility-scale and C&I scenarios and contributing to global clean energy transition and sustainable development.
