Hanover, Germany — At IAA Transportation 2026, CALB presented its Zhiyuan commercial full-scenario product solutions, showing global customers and partners its internationally leading competitiveness and an all-scenario “AI + energy” ecosystem. The display attracted wide attention from the global industry.
The Zhiyuan commercial product matrix, built on advanced battery technology, offers core advantages including high safety, fast charging, long service life and wide-temperature operation. It covers vans, light trucks, buses, heavy trucks and construction machinery. Through standardized products and flexible system customization, CALB has created an ecosystem spanning cells, battery systems and vehicle applications, helping vehicles achieve excellent performance.
Making its debut at the show, the fourth-generation stacked platform GL series meets EU New Battery Regulation compliance requirements. GL3 adopts a bottom-mounted horizontal layout; its stacked structure makes the battery thinner and flatter, fitting under the frame without intruding into cargo space or the cab. It is especially suited to European urban delivery and narrow chassis. GL6 is the flagship high-capacity product, rear- or side-mounted and designed for long-haul heavy truck tractors, construction machinery and dump trucks. It addresses payload loss and lowers full-lifecycle TCO.
CALB is accelerating its European localization, with construction of its Portugal plant advancing steadily. In commercial vehicles, the company ranked global TOP2 in a single month of 2026 (SNE Research), up 139% year on year, the fastest growth rate worldwide. CALB-powered commercial vehicles have traveled more than 700,000 km, while heavy trucks have exceeded 350,000 km. About 150,000 vehicles are equipped, covering over 140 model brands and more than 400 cities.
“Safe cells, farther journeys.” CALB said it will continue technological innovation, join hands with industry-chain partners, build highly reliable commercial power products, and keep driving the green transformation of commercial vehicles and the long-term development of zero-carbon transport.
