Notably, CALB is one of the drafters of the new national battery safety standards and has actively participated in battery standard certification for multiple Harmony Intelligent Mobility models. Centered on the design philosophy that “Safety is the ultimate luxury,” the Giant Whale Battery Platform — jointly developed by CALB and Harmony Intelligent Mobility — delivers all-round protection for users through three pillars:

• Full‑stack safety design — The platform integrates 15 layers of robust safety protection, effectively preventing internal short circuits, thermal runaway, piercing, deformation, high temperature, abrasion, and corrosion.
• Full‑standard AI intelligent factory — The manufacturing process adopts 100% on-site X‑ray inspection alongside more than 200 technological upgrades. Every single cell undergoes rigorous 100% on-site X‑ray inspection and AI‑powered visual defect detection.
• Full‑lifecycle safety guarantee — Supported by the Cloud Battery Manager, the system is fitted with over 200 sensing nodes. The cloud‑based BMS enables millisecond‑level early warning and 7×24‑hour real‑time monitoring of each cell’s status.
