Beijing Auto Show (April 24–29) – CALB’s flagship “Topflow” battery technology powered the global debuts of several high-profile electric models, including the Harmony Smart Mobility Shangjie Z7/Z7T, Zhijie R7, Toyota BZ7, Xiaopeng GX, Jihu S3, and Yijing X9. In total, more than 30 brands and 40 models featuring CALB batteries were on display at the show.
Positioning itself as the battery expert, CALB put technology leadership and full-scenario deployment front and center. The company showcased three core achievements: Topflow batteries, Zhiyuan commercial vehicle batteries, and solid‑liquid hybrid & all‑solid‑state cells. The display also underlined CALB’s forward-looking strategies in power batteries for low‑altitude economy applications and humanoid robotics.
CALB’s Topflow battery technology continues to set the benchmark, now fully integrated into premium vehicle lineups. The 80–100 kWh ternary lithium battery packs meet the industry’s highest safety standards and are already powering numerous high-end models, establishing a new reference for large-capacity cells. Meanwhile, the 10C supercharging battery enables “5 minutes of charging for 400 km of range,” delivers zero capacity degradation at -20 °C, and achieves up to 1,000 km on a full charge — bringing an unprecedented refueling-like experience to EV users.
Accelerating the industrialization of solid-state and semi-solid technologies, CALB is advancing across multiple mobility segments:
- 360 Wh/kg aviation-grade high-energy battery: World’s first to reach mass production. Now powering the Xiaopeng Heite X3‑F flying car (rolling off the Chengdu factory line). Features 25C ultra‑high discharge rate and holds both automotive regulatory and aviation airworthiness certifications.
- 400 Wh/kg solid‑liquid hybrid battery: First vehicle‑grade mass‑production unit. Supports 2C fast charging, improves range by over 20% at -25 °C, and has passed 44 rigorous safety validations — opening the door for large‑scale deployment.
- 450 Wh/kg all‑solid‑state battery: Development finalized for robotics and aircraft applications (450+ Wh/kg). In parallel, a 60 Ah automotive‑grade all‑solid‑state cell (400+ Wh/kg) is under development. CALB has also built the industry’s first dedicated mass‑production line for all‑solid‑state batteries, steadily pushing forward engineering verification and vehicle integration.
