Statement                        

Winston lithium batteries such as our WB-LYP series are fully sealed and do not vent gases.  When used with a Battery Management System these batteries do not need emissions ventilation provided that the battery enclosure is vented for battery temperature control.  Because ventilation is only required for thermal management, the lack of need to deal with explosive gases means they can be fitted into enclosures that ventilate into the space in which they are located rather than to the outside air.
