Strategic Partnership to Deliver 1.5GWh of Long-Duration Storage in Israel

Tzur Yigal, Israel, November 6th, 2025 – HiTHIUM, an international leader in long-duration energy storage, has entered a strategic partnership with El-Mor Renewable Energy, a major Israeli EPC contractor. This collaboration signifies a key step in HiTHIUM's global strategy for the long-duration energy storage (LDES) sector.

Israel's ongoing national initiative to bolster its renewable energy capacity and cut fossil fuel dependence has created a pressing demand for large-scale storage. LDES is increasingly vital for this transition, enabling the capture of daytime solar energy for use during evening peaks or periods of low generation.

The alliance will see El-Mor undertake the design and construction of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and related infrastructure for multiple projects, totaling 1.5GWh in capacity and 300MW in power. A flagship project within the portfolio is the 1GWh RAMAT BEKA PV+BESS installation, set to become the largest of its kind in the region and establish a new benchmark for grid flexibility.

For these projects, HiTHIUM will supply its ∞Power 6.25MWh BESS as a comprehensive Energy Equipment Package. This integrated solution encompasses DC and AC systems, merging battery containers, power conversion systems, medium-voltage equipment, and an energy management system. The package is supported by full engineering services. This initiative will also be the first major international deployment of HiTHIUM's long-duration storage technology.

An executive from HiTHIUM stated that the partnership with El-Mor will supply the critical technology required to stabilize Israel's grid, improve solar integration, and build a more resilient future power system. A representative from El-Mor added that combining HiTHIUM's advanced BESS solution with their own expertise in large-scale PV and substation projects allows them to offer a complete, one-stop solution to the Israeli energy market.

This partnership is a strategically significant project for HiTHIUM, underscoring its engineering leadership with its inaugural major overseas LDES deployment. By uniting El-Mor's local EPC proficiency with HiTHIUM's technological innovation, the collaboration aims to set a new standard for utility-scale energy storage.
