CALB's Battery Innovations Drive Electric Bus Evolution

At Busworld Europe 2025, held from October 4 to 9 at the Brussels Expo Center, CALB featured a range of commercial products and application solutions, demonstrating its expertise in multi-dimensional battery technology.

Key Technical Highlights:

• Large Cylindrical Ternary/LFP Products: CALB launched standard cells including 4680, 4695, and 46131 specifications, adaptable to commercial vehicles with varying voltage and energy needs. Supporting 6C fast charging and up to 305 Wh/kg energy density, they offer high power and energy performance.

• One-Stop LMFP Cell Products: Through LMFP material advances and OS platform innovation, the new LMFP cells provide strong cycle life and fast charging, suited for bus and truck low-temperature and low-floor requirements. Enhanced safety and energy density, combined with CIR integration, improve system volume utilization and vehicle range.

• CIR Standard PACK Platform: This standardized design reduces parts by 20%, cuts assembly steps by 25%, and boosts efficiency by 20%. With lightweight construction, it achieves 170 Wh/kg system energy density, freeing space for passengers and luggage. Offering 450–1000 kWh solutions for city, tourist, and rural buses, it features a robust chassis tested for impact and water resistance (IP68), plus thermal management for -35°C to 65°C operation in diverse conditions.

With extensive experience in commercial vehicles, CALB serves over 100 cities worldwide. The exhibited products—spanning ultra-fast charging, material upgrades, and platform adaptability—align with Europe's zero-carbon transport goals and offer a new model for global commercial vehicle electrification.
