Sungrow has launched its next-generation microinverter, the S2500S-L, tailored for the Brazilian market. The product made its debut at Intersolar South America 2025, held from August 26–28 in São Paulo. Designed for enhanced reliability and efficiency, the microinverter supports Brazil’s growing residential solar sector with improved performance in high-temperature environments and streamlined installation.
A standout feature of the S2500S-L is its ability to operate at 45°C without derating and maintain stable performance up to 80°C—a critical advantage in Brazil’s hotter regions. Its one-click configuration via the iSolarCloud app allows installers to sync multiple units simultaneously, cutting setup time by over 66%. The system also offers strengthened wireless communication, with 10% greater transmission power and support for 24-hour data retransmission during network interruptions.
With a power output of 2.5 kW per unit, the S2500S-L allows systems up to 7.5 kW to qualify for Brazil’s fast-track grid approval process. It supports four independent MPPT channels and offers broad compatibility with high-current modules. Built to IP67 and C5 corrosion-resistant standards, it undergoes extensive reliability testing, including extreme temperature cycles and harsh environmental simulations, ensuring durability in diverse Brazilian climates.
The microinverter also integrates with Sungrow’s iSolarCloud platform, enabling real-time monitoring and remote management for end users. With its combination of high power density, thermal resilience, and user-friendly features, the S2500S-L aims to support more efficient and reliable residential solar energy production across Brazil.
