EVE Energy Showcases Open Source Battery 4.0: AI Battery at IAA 2026

HANNOVER, Germany — The 2026 IAA Transportation opened Sept. 14–20 at the Hannover Exhibition Center, drawing global attention to electrification. Among the exhibitors, EVE Energy used the event to give its Open Source Battery 4.0: AI Battery a first European showing, alongside a concentrated display of system-level products and its localized European operating advantages. The booth attracted numerous leading overseas enterprises for in-depth exchanges, and the company announced strategic cooperation orders totaling more than 30GWh on site. EVE Energy said it will continue to deepen its presence in Europe’s commercial vehicle market with solid product strength and an open ecosystem approach, helping advance low-carbon upgrades across global transportation energy.

AI Battery, reshaping global commercial vehicle transport value

Themed “Big Battery, Big Wisdom,” the exhibition presented both Open Source Battery 3.0 products and 4.0: AI Battery solutions. The lineup included LM815, LM285 and V63 LMX advanced chemistry cells, the LM815-641kWh heavy truck underfloor system, and the B3E-LF206S bus system. With combined advantages such as large battery capacity, lightweight design, long life and strong low-temperature performance, the products became a focal point at the show.

At the core technology level, the company’s mature LMX material system retains the high safety and stability of LFP materials while breaking through energy density bottlenecks and significantly improving low-temperature performance. The products are positioned to fully meet Europe’s strict access standards and complex extreme operating environments, effectively addressing pain points in commercial vehicle electrification. Product launch decodes Open Source Battery’s hardcore strength

At the IAA show, EVE Energy held a launch event for commercial vehicle OEMs, industry chain partners and industry media under the theme “Open Source Battery 4.0: AI Battery Opens a New Era of Global Commercial Vehicle Transport Capacity.” The event comprehensively presented the brand meaning of Open Source Battery. Combining European regulatory requirements and the pain points of complex cross-regional operating conditions, it interpreted the product value of Open Source Battery and the advantages of LMX chemistry and products. It also conveyed an open and collaborative industry philosophy, explored feasible paths for commercial vehicle electrification with attending guests, and fully demonstrated the overseas industrialization potential of Open Source Battery.
